Catullus VIII

Bleak, I end insanity.
Say: OK, I’ve lost the games
I lost.
In summer, gold reigned long days.
I followed girls,
paid good money
for the rush.
Car chase of lust.

But your attachment is a noose.
Death to wanting. Burn my mind
clean. Raze it
clear. It was me
I loved,
anyway.
